SMEF will host an annual awards ceremony to honor the selected project instructors and to present the funds. This is usually scheduled for late winter. 

At the Awards ceremony SMEF also presents the

FOUNDER’S AWARDS

• Named for the persons who created SMEF in 1983, or for other SMEF members who have diligently volunteered many hours to our foundation.
  
  
• Given as recognition to select district staff for their dedication and commitment to education and/or innovation in teaching.

2010 Awards

Congratulations are in order to 62 teachers who from 14 district sites collaborated to obtain funding for 28 enrichment projects totaling $16,040.00.
